Every way you look at it, I love to teach! My first instrument, and my first experience teaching, was the violin. I began learning at age 10 and started my first orchestra for 4th and 5th graders while in high school. I led the Sinfonia homeschool orchestra in Spring Lake for a year, led music programs at Imagination Station in Zeeland, and later owned my own set of fine arts centers for kids called Lil' Learners.
Lately, I'm re-enrolled at GVSU to earn a Masters in Education for curriculum design and instruction. I've begun work on a foreign language curriculum for Kindergarteners and am also composing a set of duets for teaching violin, viola, cello, guitar, and piano.
If you're looking for a teacher for your beginner, intermediate, or advanced student who guarantees lessons will be fun, give me a call and I'd be very happy to answer any questions you have and maybe set up a trial lesson to see if your student and myself are a good fit!
